- Client need
- Create open-plan living and indoor–outdoor connections through 7 m and 5.5 m door openings.

- Designed the structural walls, slab, roof tie-downs and bracing, swimming pool, Besser block walls and fences.

Recycled concrete block retaining wall
- Client need
- Form a retaining solution on sloping ground within practical construction constraints.
- Elite response
- Engineered a stepped recycled-concrete-block wall to suit the retained levels and construction sequence.
- Completed work
- The photographs show the completed wall arrangement and construction detail.
Industrial steelwork platform
- Client need
- Alter an existing structural-steel work platform supporting industrial plant and machinery. Nominated columns had to be removed to create an open work area and accommodate new machinery, but no existing structural drawings were available.
- Elite response
- Elite inspected and measured the platform, established its existing framing and load paths, and identified additional structural deficiencies. The entire platform was assessed, and the strengthening and rectification required for the column removals were designed and documented.
- Completed work
- The nominated columns were removed and the required open workspace was achieved. The platform was rectified in accordance with Elite’s drawings, and Elite certified the completed structural work platform.
